  • Access Screening has been shortlisted for The Compliance Solution of the Year, and Volcanic for The Recruitment Marketing Solution of the Year.

The 2021 Talent Tech Star Awards are designed to shine a spotlight on the full spectrum of HR and Recruitment technology solutions for employers, recruiters, candidates and contractors. In total there are 36 finalists across 13 highly competitive categories assessed through five key metrics: employee excellence, innovation, client service, business growth and purpose.

Paul Vogel, managing director, Access Recruitment, says, “being shortlisted for these prestigious industry awards is evidence of the value that our software delivers, as well as recognising the hard work of our team. The challenges of an unprecedented year means our customers have been even more reliant on our SaaS solutions to provide a slick online experience for their candidates and clients.”

In the last year alone, Access Screening automated over 250,000 references, saving on average 17 hours of onboarding time per worker, and enabled 140 different checks. The launch of a Right to Work Mobile app and portal that enables smaller businesses to complete instant mandatory checks on a pay as you go model fulfilled the award’s innovation criteria. Meanwhile Volcanic’s website platform that powers over 1,600 live recruitment websites around the globe, including 30% of the UK’s top 100 recruitment firms, has constantly evolved to drive candidate engagement.

Alex Evans, Programme Director of TALiNT Partners comments, “whilst challenging for everyone, the last 12 months have provided the perfect opportunity for technology providers to demonstrate the impact of solutions during a time of accelerated digital transformation and the evolution of work.”

Finalist entries will now be scored by an independent panel of expert judges drawn from HR, recruitment, compliance, investment and procurement to determine a winner in each award category. This year’s Chair of Judges is Martin McCourt, the former Dyson CEO. All winners will be revealed at the TIARA Talent Tech Star Awards Ceremony on Friday 2nd July 2021.
