Engineering consulting and staffing provider Belcan LLC announced it has acquired Victor42, a Washington DC-based provider of services to the federal government that include special operations support, intelligence solutions and training, and IT services.

“We are excited to add a premier specialist company like Victor42 to our growing organization, and we look forward to working with their experienced team as we further expand our comprehensive offerings to government and defense clients,” Belcan CEO Lance Kwasniewski said.

Victor42’s federal government clients include US Special Operations Command, Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Its private-sector clients include IBM, Palantir Technologies and Jacobs Engineering.

This acquisition marks the 17th acquisition by Belcan under its ownership by private equity firm AE Industrial Partners LP and follows the acquisition of Avista Inc., a provider of software engineering services to original equipment manufacturers in the aerospace, defense, industrial and medical industries.

Cincinnati-based Belcan supplies engineering, technical recruiting and IT services to the aerospace, defense, industrial, and government services markets. It ranks seventh on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of the largest engineering staffing firms in the US.
