The National Labor Relations Board issued a complaint against HCL America Inc. in a case involving HCL workers at a Google facility in Pittsburgh, the United Steelworkers Union reported. The complaint involves allegations HCL is moving work to a location in Krakow, Poland, from Pittsburgh after workers voted to unionize. The complaint was issued Monday and the union announced it today.

HCL contractors working at Google voted in September 2019 to join the union. HCL provides IT and business services, engineering and R&D services and products and platforms.

The union says the complaint also involves failure to bargain in good faith, including failing to provide information needed for bargaining and unilaterally implementing changes to working conditions.

The NLRB has scheduled a hearing for Feb. 9, 2021.
