Hire Technologies Inc. (TSXV: HIRE), a Toronto-based staffing firm, said it is not merging with RSI International Systems Inc. (NEX: RSY.H) after both firms mutually agreed to terminate the plan. The merger was initially announced Feb. 21.
Neither company will pay a termination fee in the canceling of the deal.
RSI sold its only business asset early last year and is seeking to use proceeds from the sale to invest in a new business.
Hire Technologies’ operations include subsidiaries Provision IT Resources Ltd. and PTC Accounting and Finance Inc. Hire Technologies had changed its name in April from Bay Talent Group.
