Staffing provider Lingo Staffing acquired FJC Personnel, a Round Rock, Texas-based staffing company that provides temporary staffing needs, project and contract jobs. It also matches candidates to employers through its direct placement division.

The acquisition enables Richmond, Virginia-based Lingo Staffing to expand its services into Texas.

“Lingo Staffing has been looking to expand its brick-and-mortar operation into the state of Texas for some time now, so we jumped on the opportunity,” Lingo Staffing CEO Brad Gillespie said. “By joining the Lingo Staffing team, FJC will now have an expanded technology stack and full back-office support from corporate that will enable them to focus on the core principles of the business: placing people.”

FJC Personnel will continue to support its clients as a fully incorporated and branded part of the Lingo Staffing team. Fred Cartmill, who previously was president of FJC Personnel, will continue to lead the Austin Branch for Lingo Staffing as a branch manager. Additionally, several key team members will remain in their current roles.

“Being part of the Lingo team and having access to their extensive resources allows us to elevate and expand our service offerings,” Cartmill said.

Lingo Staffing was founded in 2009.
