Careerminds Group Inc., a Wilmington, Delaware-based outplacement firm, acquired CareerCurve LLC, a Cleveland-based provider of outplacement and development coaching.
“The timing of this acquisition is perfect,” Careerminds President Raymond Lee said. “Over the last two decades, CareerCurve has built an impressive client list and shares the philosophy of doing the heavy lifting for transitional employees with an until-placement coaching model.”
Lee will continue to serve as president of Careerminds as well as the newly acquired CareerCurve.
Careerminds uses a software-as-a-service platform to provide career transition services that include assessments, résumé writing, LinkedIn optimization, networking and career coaching. Earlier this year, the company announced a majority investment by Talent Inc.
For its part, CareerCurve was founded in 2004 by four executives with more than 30 years of experience in the outplacement industry. In February 2021, CareerCurve announced the acquisition of High Potential Inc., a Chicago-based career transition services and executive coaching firm.
