BG Staffing Inc. (NYSE: BGSF) appointed Cynthia “Cynt” Marshall and its president and CEO, Beth Garvey to its board effective immediately. Marshall is currently CEO of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and is founder, president and CEO of consulting firm Marshalling Resources. Marshall also had a 36-year career at AT&T, most recently as senior VP – human resources and chief diversity officer. Marshall was also the first African-American chair of the North Carolina State Chamber of Commerce.
IT staffing provider Savantis announced Keith Hontz as CEO and president. Hontz formerly served as CEO of SocketLabs.
TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI) named Chris Kreidler to its board effective immediately. Kriedler will serve on the audit, nominating and corporate governance, and innovation and technology committees. Kreidler formerly served as an executive at Sysco Corp. as well as C&S Wholesale Grocers and Yum! Brands.
Executive search firm Lucas Group announced Aram Lulla has been promoted to division president overseeing accounting and finance, human resources and IT. Lulla previously served as general manager HR. Lucas Group also promoted Victor Palumbo to general manager accounting and finance and Sara Luther to general manager HR. David Armendariz continues as general manager IT. Tom McGee was promoted to division president overseeing sales and marketing, supply chain and operations, and military transition. Jimmy Dwertman was promoted to director, supply chain and operations. Jim O’Neal was promoted to director, military delivery. Cindy Ewers was promoted to director, sales and marketing. Steven Lynch will continue to lead Lucas Group’s legal division.
