Randstad nv announced on Thursday at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders that Sander van ’t Noordende was appointed as a member of its executive board effective Jan. 10, 2022. Van ’t Noordende will also be taking over as CEO and chair of the executive board effective March 29. Randstad had announced in October that van ’t Noordende was taking on the roles from Jacques van den Broek.

Velocity Global, a provider of global employer-of-record and independent contractor compliance services, hired Colin McDonagh as VP of emerging business. McDonagh formerly served as the direct-sourcing program architect for Meta (formerly Facebook) as global program manager – contract programs. He has also previously served as director, international operations, at Allegis Global Solutions. McDonagh is based in Dublin, Ireland, and is building a global team for Velocity Global.

Healthcare staffing provider AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN) appointed Jorge Caballero as a new independent director. Caballero was managing partner of Deloitte’s Business Tax Services US-India practice prior to retirement in June 2019 and has a strong financial background and extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions.

Salo, a staffing provider based in Minneapolis, named Janeen Vogelaar as chief marketing officer. Vogelaar has more than 20 years of experience and most recently was director of marketing, creative and brand at Tegna Inc., the owner of Kare 11. Vogelaar was also an executive producer on the documentary film “Love Them First: Lessons from Lucy Laney.”

AtWork, a national staffing franchise, appointed Benjaman Hubbard as VP of marketing for the corporate office. He joined AtWork in 2017 and most recently was director of marketing. Hubbard will assume his new role immediately and continue to work from AtWork’s corporate headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Global executive search firm Calibre One opened its first office in Dallas and appointed Scott Garner as a partner to head the newly formed Texas operations. Garner most recently spent four years as a technology practice leader at Korn Ferry and has held executive recruiting and leadership roles with Affiliated Computer Services, Xerox, Intel Corp. and Marsh & McLennan Companies. He also previously founded and managed his own Dallas-based executive search consultancy, Garner Executive Search Inc.
