TalentNow, a contingent workforce management platform, named Summer Crenshaw as CEO. Crenshaw has nearly 20 years of experience in digital recruitment, HR technology, talent marketplace strategy and executive leadership.

QPS Employment, a staffing firm based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, with 54 offices, hired Chip Gabbey as regional VP of operations. Gabbey will operate out of QPS’ Appleton, Wisconsin, office. Gabbey was previously with Staffmark and most recently held the position of regional VP overseeing the Great Lakes region.

MRINetwork, a staffing franchise firm, promoted Annette Wehrli to the position of senior director, leadership and organizational effectiveness. Wehrli joined the company in 2002 as a board of directors program manager.

PriorityWorkforce, a provider of light industrial staffing, promoted Juan Bañuelos to executive VP, Texas. PriorityWorkforce recently opened new Texas offices in Humble and Arlington.

GoodJob, an online platform that aims to match workers with jobs, announced that Bob Timbrook joined the company as chief revenue officer. Timbrook brings more than 30 years of experience and he has previously worked at Next Computer, Netscape, Epiphany and Upwork.

Handshake, a jobs platform for college students, appointed Margo Georgiadis to its board. Georgiadis most recently served as president and CEO of Ancestry.com and prior to that as CEO of Mattell Inc. and president, Americas, at Google.

Hire Technologies Inc. (TSXV: HIRE), a Toronto-based staffing firm, appointed Sunil Sharma as a member of its advisory board. Sharma is the managing director of Techstars Toronto.

Catapult Solution Group, a Dallas-based staffing firm, named Andy Ruth as recruiting director (federal).

Executive search firm Eastward Partners appointed Nicole Balsam to lead its brand and digital practice.
