ShiftPixy Inc. (NASDAQ: PIXY) announced today plans to integrate OpenAI’s language model, ChatGPT, into its platform.
Through the integration, ShiftPixy reported it expects to be able to analyze worker experience, job descriptions and other candidate-related data in real time, enabling the company to match the best candidates for open client positions more efficiently.
Miami-based ShiftPixy operates as an employment administrative services provider and staffing provider that focuses on the restaurant and hospitality industry as well as the healthcare industry.
“Integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT will be a significant milestone for us,” ShiftPixy founder and CEO Scott Absher said. “Our early work with AI was applied to worker and open shift matching, but now OpenAI has created an opportunity beyond just matching to streamline our ‘Fast Fill’ technology, eliminating the process friction of putting people to work faster.”
