Headway Workforce Solutions, a staffing firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, sold its PathGoal Employer Services professional employer organization business to PrestigePEO, a Melville, New York-based PEO.
“At Headway, we have continued to divest ourselves of non-core assets and investments as we accelerate our growth into our core strategy of being a branchless national solutions provider for employer of record and sector HR Solutions,” Headway Executive Chairman J.P. Sakey said.
The deal took effect Aug. 16.
“This acquisition affords PrestigePEO the opportunity to introduce our services and broaden our service offering in North Carolina [small and midsize businesses],” said Andrew Lubash, Prestige PEO founder and CEO.
PathGoal is now a PrestigePEO company and will remain an independent entity under the PrestigePEO umbrella. PathGoal President Adam Doman will remain with the company.
