Ascend Staffing, a staffing provider based in North Salt Lake, Utah, announced that it acquired Workforce Staffing Services in a deal the closed late last year.
Workforce Staffing Services has seven offices in Utah and Idaho. It provides staffing in light industrial areas including shipping and receiving, food service, mail sorting, warehousing, and hospitality.
Plans call for Workforce Staffing Services’ operations to transition to the Ascend Staffing brand.
With the acquisition, Ascend has 37 offices in 12 states including Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Washington.
