Travelers Haven, a Denver-based provider of corporate housing for workers, including travel healthcare workers,  has been acquired by Blueground, a global proptech provider headquartered in New York.

“With the housing crunch showing no signs of slowing down, we continue to see an explosion of demand for our services in every corner of the US,” said Carlos Abisambra, president and CEO of Travelers Haven, adding that with Blueground’s reputation and resources, the company can address this on a wider scale.

Travelers Haven was founded in 2008 by Elia Wallen, with a plan to simplify housing for traveling healthcare workers. It operates in nearly 20,000 cities and towns across the US.

However, Blueground and Travelers Haven will continue to operate as separate entities.

With the Travelers Haven acquisition, Blueground will offer on-demand housing in more than 20,000 cities and towns in the US for corporate clients.
