Automaker Ford is again requiring face masks for employees and CEO Jim Farley said some employees are not showing up because of it, with absentee rates at some factories exceeding 20%, CNN reported. Ford is turning to temporary workers to fill in for the absentees. “The economics of staying out of work are getting more attractive during the summer,” Farley told CNN. “It’s people that are apprehensive. It’s people who say, ‘I don’t want to wear a mask this week.’ It’s a variety of things.”
