Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, said the US economy will slow this year, but a soft landing is possible, CBS News reported. Georgieva also noted there are expectations for weaker labor markets towards the end of the year. “But let’s be very clear, we are not scared of some big unemployment wave swiping through the United States,” she said.
