  • Access company, Volcanic, the global leader in recruitment websites, introduces the ability for jobseekers to ‘Apply with LinkedIn’ delivering a better candidate experience.

With 70% of the global workforce made up of passive talent according to LinkedIn, it has never been so important to make the job application process as painless as possible.

The ‘Apply with LinkedIn’ functionality is designed to make it easier to apply for a job without the need to create and submit a CV. Instead candidates can choose to use their existing LinkedIn profile. By simplifying the application process, passive candidates are encouraged to apply for roles without the hassle of needing to update a traditional formatted CV. This is particularly useful for applications made via mobile devices where a candidate may not have the document to hand.

Benefits of the Apply with LinkedIn functionality:

    • easy application process that allows the registration form to be populated with a user’s LinkedIn profile data
    • automatically retrieves LinkedIn profile and creates a digital CV for the candidate to use and review
    • the recruiter receives a PDF CV in the same way as for any other application.

Alec Middleton, Product Director, Volcanic, comments: “our goal at Volcanic is always to build beautiful websites that boost candidate attraction. This added functionality is a real game-changer. By empowering candidates to apply how they want we impact the conversion of agencies’ web traffic to placements, improving their speed-to-fill and bottom line.”

He goes on to say: “for recruitment companies that have yet to adopt a website built on a SaaS platform this could be reason enough – countering skills shortages by making the online application process slicker and quicker.”

This year over 7 million candidates will be delivered to recruitment websites via Volcanic’s SaaS platform, at a rate of 20,000 a day.
