ASA now offers a new resource to assist staffing firm members with California’s Consumer Privacy Act compliance. Employers subject to the CCPA must be prepared to comply with the many data privacy obligations as they relate to employment and job applicant data starting Jan. 1, 2023.
Written by attorneys Benjamin Ebbink and Usama Kahf of law firm Fisher Phillips, the new resource details the content requirements for a CCPA notice to employees and provides a list of the potential uses (business purposes) of employee data that a staffing firm might want to include in their CCPA notice to employees.
