The Conference Board-Burning Glass Help Wanted OnLine Index rose to a reading of 89.5 in June (July 2018 = 100). The reading was 84.3 in May.
June’s reading still remains down 13.3% on a year-over-years basis.
The index measures changes over time in advertised online job vacancies with the aim of reflecting monthly trends in employment opportunities across the US. Ads are collected from more than 50,000 online job domains including traditional job boards, corporate boards, social media sites and smaller job sites that serve niche markets and smaller geographic areas.
