Global IT solutions firm Capgemini Group appointed Aiman Ezzat as CEO on May 20 at the close of its annual general meeting of shareholders. He joined Capgemini in 2000 and most recently was COO from January 2018; he was CFO from December 2012 to 2018.

Snagajob, a job board for hourly work, appointed Brian Schmidt as chief revenue officer. He will lead efforts to accelerate growth and drive vertical expansion. Schmidt most recently spent seven years with Tripadvisor, where he led global sales and operations for the company’s core products; prior to Tripadvisor, he held leadership positions at Google, specializing in scaling growth and bringing new products to market.

AMN Healthcare Inc. (NYSE: AMN), the largest US healthcare staffing firm, appointed Bernard Godley, MD, PhD, as lead physician executive for the company’s leadership and search solutions division. Godley comes to AMN from global executive search and organizational consulting firm Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY), where he was a senior client partner representing its Academic Health Center Practice. Prior to Korn Ferry, he was professor and chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. 

Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ: CCRN) on Thursday announced Dr. Janice E. Nevin, MD, MPH, has been elected to serve as a board member, effective May 19; Richard Mastaler retired from the board on the same date. Nevin has been president and CEO of ChristianaCare since 2015. She is chair of the strategic planning committee of America’s Essential Hospitals and is also on other boards. Cross Country ranks on SIA’s 2019 list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the US.

Executive search firm The Bowdoin Group appointed Terri Ryan as its new VP of finance. She has more than 25 years of experience leading finance organizations and most recently was VP of finance and administration at NetNumber Inc., where she led its finance, accounting and HR teams, and provided strategic analysis for business decisions. The firm also added Travis DeMar as a senior consultant; he most recently was a talent acquisition consultant for Pegasystems, and before that, a recruiter for WinterWyman’s executive search business.

Cordia Resources, a Washington DC accounting, finance and HR recruiting and staffing firm, hired Ivan Perry as managing director. He joins Sam McCarthy, HR practice manager, to lead the expansion of the firm’s HR recruiting services to midsize and large companies. Perry brings more than 15 years of talent acquisition, executive recruiting and leadership management experience and served as a captain in the US Air Force, training in both intelligence and acquisition program management.
