US temp staffing hours were up in the week ended March 23 but still down from last year, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. Commercial staffing hours edged up 0.1%, while professional staffing hours edged up 0.2%.

The latest data suggests continued weakness in the staffing industry despite strength in the overall US economy.
