US staffing hours fall by 6% in week ended July 1: SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator

Temporary staffing hours worked in the US fell 6% year over year in the week ended July 1, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report, released today. 

Over the past five weeks, hours worked in commercial occupations fell by an average of 8% year over year. Hours worked in professional occupations decreased an average of 8% year over year in the past five weeks.
