Vensure Employer Solutions, a provider of PEO and other services, acquired Canadian Payroll Services, which provides employer-of-record services. Canadian Payroll Services aims to enable global companies to hire Canadian remote workers and teams. It is based in Ontario.

“The acquisition of CPS further solidifies our presence in the Canadian market,” Alex Campos, CEO of Vensure Employer Solutions, said in a press statement. “By combining the strengths of both companies, we are better positioned to serve in the Canadian market in more meaningful ways than each could individually.”

Vensure provides PEO, payroll administration, recruiting and other services. It processes more than US$135 billion in annual payroll. The Chandler, Arizona-based company’s clients include staffing firms and other companies.

Founded in 2014, CPS partners with international businesses seeking to hire and manage talent in Canada.

“Our clients will experience minimal operational changes but will enjoy the added benefit of accessing Vensure’s broad range of valuable products and services,” Afifa Siddiqui, founder and CEO of Canadian Payroll Services, said in a press statement.
