AI Platform Augmentir Hired by Irrigation Giant Hunter Industries

Connected worker software company Augemtir announced on September 9 that they are providing their AI-based services to Hunter Industries, global manufacturer of residential and commercial irrigation products. 

Yunior Murillo, Operations Training Supervisor for Hunter, highlighted the importance of innovation to their performance, stating “The operational insights provided by Augmentir’s AI allow us to focus our training efforts on individuals that need them most and intelligently guide our technicians in their day-to-day activities.” 

Visier Launches New People Analytics Capabilities

Leader in people analytics Visier announced more product capabilities that were included with a release this summer.

“This is the stepping stone to offer Visier Cloud as a complete open ecosystem,” said CEO Ryan Wong in a press release. His aim is to have new applications built from their analytics foundation “help global organizations see the truth in their data.”

The new functions are designed to empower companies to further develop their employees, utilizing updates including:

  • Twelve pre-built analyses that give summarized views of business concerns, giving leaders an overview of the state of their organization.
  • Tracking of custom cohorts over time to measure the impact of shared experience on outcomes. 
  • New “What-If” Models, including a metric to check the cost of replacement for a departed employee.
  • Learning analytics that teach users about different metrics and how to use them.

Spark Hire Grows by Starting UK-Based Team  

Because of the pandemic, remote interviews have become essential to HR teams. Spark Hire, one of the leading providers of video interview software, recently announced the hiring of it’s first EMEA region team in the UK to continue their upward growth. 

Founder and CEO Josh Tolan is looking forward to adding a “local touch” to the growing UK customer base, saying “We’ve seen significant growth abroad, as Spark Hire is quickly becoming the premier software solution for video interviewing across European markets.” An office in Melbourne, Australia opened earlier this year as well.
