The American Staffing Association today announced that National Recruiting Consultants founder and chief executive officer DeLibra Wesley is the newest appointee to its board of directors.

Before founding National Recruiting Consultants, which focuses on staffing in K-12 special education departments, Wesley was a fixture in the health care staffing industry for nearly two decades, eventually serving as chief operating officer of the Delta Cos.

She is also active in the ASA community, serving as a member of the ASA inclusion, diversity, and equity advocacy group council and of the women in leadership interest group, and was named to the Staffing Industry Analysts Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list in 2018 and 2020.

“DeLibra is an exceptional leader, and the ASA board of directors and I are looking forward to the insights, perspectives, and passion that she will bring to our association and the industry in her new role,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and chief executive officer.

Wesley is the mother to two boys, Tristen and Trace.

Representatives from independent firms and national companies serve on the ASA board of directors.
