PeopleReady, a division of TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI), reported this year’s construction season will bring approximately 500,000 jobs across the US.
“A solid construction season and the jobs it provides can help people who’ve been hit hard financially over the past year get back on their feet,” PeopleReady President Taryn Owen said. “Temporary jobs in the construction industry can provide the opportunity to learn new skills, along with flexibility, independence and, of course, a steady paycheck.”
Some of the most in-demand construction jobs do not require experience, according to PeopleReady. Those jobs include roofing helpers, general construction workers, concrete workers, ground maintenance workers and flaggers.
