Doctors on H-1B visas can now practice telemedicine (The Economic Times)

The US is now allowing doctors in the country on H-1B visas to practice telemedicine to help amid the Covid-19 crisis, The Economic Times reported. The change came after a bipartisan group of lawmakers approached US Citizenship and Immigration Services. Separately, the American Dental Association on Thursday asked the federal government to extend the 60-day grace period for unemployed or furloughed dentists with H-1B visas to 180 days.
