As HR leaders seek to deliver innovative strategies for the future of work, they increasingly recognize the need for people-centric approaches. To help HR professionals collaborate and share best practices around this aim, Human Resource Executive this week announced a new conference for 2024.

The Elevate People, Ignite Change (EPIC) conference will be held April 24-26 at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. It will feature a range of topics and industry-leading speakers to support attendees as they cultivate the cultures needed to move their businesses forward in a changed environment.

“In every organization, HR is at the core of people success. EPIC will dig into building cultures that inspire your workforce to perform at their best,” says Rebecca McKenna, senior vice president, HR portfolio at ETC, a global content-based firm creating communities in education and HR sectors and owner of HRE. “The EPIC experience will be about deepening existing connections and realizing new opportunities together. We are really excited to bring EPIC’s transformational approach to the HR community.”

EPIC is set to deliver cutting-edge content on today’s modern HR challenges: redefining the employee experience, people-centricity in the age of AI, the role of HR in activism and more.

The event will be chaired by longtime HR change management leader Mark Stelzner, founder and managing partner of IA HR, a human resources advisory firm that assists start-ups to enterprises in achieving their complex, strategic transformational goals.

The conference will create an environment that emphasizes the unique attributes each employee can bring to an organization, Stelzner says—allowing HR professionals to envision ways to get the people and business strategies closer together.

“EPIC stands for ‘Elevate People, Ignite Change’—because that’s exactly what today’s HR leaders are attempting to activate within their own organizations,” Stelzner explains, adding he aims for attendees to walk away from the three-day conference with actionable strategies to strengthen their HR functions. “We want our attendees to actually have something meaty and meaningful that they can immediately put to work.”
