In an effort to assist members with workers in California, ASA now offers a new California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) compliance resource–a sample template notice for employees. This sample notice was drafted for ASA by attorney Mitzi Hill of law firm Taylor English Duma, LLP. As a reminder, ASA also offers another CCPA compliance resource, which details content requirements for a CCPA notice to employees, and provides a list of the potential uses (business purposes) of employee data. This was drafted for ASA by attorneys Benjamin Ebbink, Usama Kahf, and John Polson of law firm Fisher Phillips.
