AB Staffing Solutions LLC, a healthcare staffing firm, announced Evan Burks will become CEO. Burks had previously served as president of AB Staffing for the last 10 years. In addition, the company promoted Lance Schugg to president. Schugg has been with the company for 14 years, most recently as chief administrative officer. Also, Adam Boxberger will now serve as senior VP of operations. Boxberger has been with the company for nearly four years.
Healthcare staffing firm Health Carousel named Zack Storer as chief technology and product officer. Storer’s previous roles include executive positions at Kroger and News Corp. Storer will lead Health Carousel’s newly combined product and technology engineering organizations in partnership with Chief Digital Officer John Sebastian and Chief Information Officer Kevin Armour.
Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASDAQ: HSII) appointed Tracey Heaton as its chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Heaton previously was senior VP, chief corporate counsel for Visa Inc. Prior to that, she was executive VP and deputy general counsel at NYSE Euronext Inc. and associate general counsel at United Technologies Corp.
Globalization Partners, a supplier of employer-of-record services, named Richa Gupta as its chief people officer. Gupta has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry. She joins Globalization Partners from Castlight Health Inc., where she also served as chief people officer. Gupta has also served as VP of human resources at PayPal and at GE Digital.
FleetNurse, a talent platform for healthcare professionals, named Eric Bergquist as chief technology officer. Prior to FleetNurse, Bergquist worked as CTO for startup Gig Biz. He was also the CTO of Revolution Insurance Technologies.
Mastech Digital Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: MHH) reported in a regulatory filing that Paul Burton, CEO of Mastech InfoTrellis Inc., plans to resign effective Dec. 14 to pursue another business opportunity. Mastech InfoTrellis is the data and analytics subsidiary of IT staffing provider Mastech.

- LaFawn Davis – promoted to senior VP, environmental, social and governance. Davis is the first Black member of Indeed’s senior leadership team.
- Sean McSherry – promoted to senior VP, finance.
- Anthony Moisant – promoted to a joint role as chief information officer and chief security officer. Moisant is the first military veteran to join Indeed’s senior leadership team.
- Lisa Ramirez – promoted to senior VP, operations, from chief of staff to the CEO.
- Brendan Sterne – promoted to group VP and general manager of Job Seeker.
Marshall Murphy has been named managing director and practice leader for human resources management at Capital Alliance Corp. Murphy most recently led financial, accounting, treasury and corporate development functions for Atlanta-based IT staffing provider Insight Global. Capital Alliance Corp. is a mid-market investment banking firm providing consulting services for mergers and acquisitions.
