While B2B talent platforms have grown to $13.8 billion in gross spend volume,  a niche business of “talent platform aggregators” exists that helps client firms access workers through several platforms.

“Talent platform aggregators can integrate with MSP and VMS to ensure engagement with talent platforms complies with hiring policies,” according to “The Talent Platform Landscape: 2022 Update” by Staffing Industry Analysts. “Integration also saves time for procurement managers by allowing them to engage with many talent platforms without having to repeat the supplier onboarding process for each talent platform. Other services offered by talent platform aggregators include IC compliance checks, invoicing and data analysis dashboards.”

But while the concept has been around for some time, it remains a niche market, according to  SIA research. It also noted KellyOCG is the prime player in the space with its KellyOCG Human Cloud offering.

SIA’s Lexicon formally defines talent platform aggregator as:

“A natural development following the recent proliferation of talent platforms, these aggregators deliver a curated pipeline of skilled freelance talent sourced from multiple talent platforms but accessed via one convenient interface. The model provides an aggregated solution for freelance talent much in the same way that recruitment marketplaces aggregate staffing provision and job aggregators aggregate online job advertising.”
