Tandym Group, which ranks among the largest US staffing providers. acquired Metro Systems Inc., a provider of IT staffing based in Alexandria, Virginia.
The acquisition enhances the scale of Tandym Tech, Tandym’s technology vertical.
The deal for a 100% stake in the firm closed on June 24. Metro Systems will now operate under the Tandym Group brand name.
As part of the deal, Metro Systems’ co-CEOs, Kirk Casey and Dave Steinbraker, will exit the business, but the remaining management team will stay.
“Metro Systems is a highly strategic acquisition, expanding our client base, skillset and geographic presence,” Tandym Group executive chairman Charles Heskett said. “I look forward to welcoming the Metro Systems team and accelerating the growth of our combined platform.”
New York-based Tandym Group is backed by investment firm Mill Rock Capital and recently rebranded from Execu|Search Group.
