Synchronized Solutions named Melissa Byington as CEO. Byington comes to Synchronized Solutions from Supplemental Healthcare, where she served as chief sales officer. Byington appeared on the 2018 North American Staffing 100 and on the 2017 Global Power 150 list of women in staffing.

Proman Group, an industrial staffing provider with US operations based in Northbrook, Illinois, named Jay Mattern as chief operating officer effective Sept. 6. Mattern had served as CEO of TerraFirma Marketing since 2020. Prior to that, Mattern was CEO of the Peoplelink Group, a South Bend, Indiana-based national staffing firm where he worked for 32 years. Mattern will report to CEO Gilles Tanneur, lead the sales and field operations and be involved in acquisitions, customer experience and overall growth of the organization.

Medical Solutions, a healthcare staffing firm based in Omaha, Nebraska, named Eric Johnson as director of diversity, equity and inclusion. Johnson will lead all DE&I initiatives at the firm. Prior to Medical Solutions, Johnson co-founded Insighted, where he focused on executive coaching specific to DE&I.

Executive search firm Raines International announced that Managing Director Patrick Grey is leading its new London office. Before joining the executive search industry, Gray served in assignments worldwide as a US Army intelligence officer. He has also held leadership positions at Heidrick and Struggles International Inc. and Korn Ferry.

Deodat Ramkissoon was appointed VP of human resources to run the new recruitment process outsourcing business for public relations firm Consult PR. Ramkissoon has 32 years of experience in the Fortune 10.

Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY) added Charles Harrington as a director. Harrington spent nearly 40 years at Parsons Corp., including serving for 13 years as CEO. Korn Ferry also announced that board member Christina Gold will retire from the board. Gold has served on the board since 2014, most recently as nonexecutive chair since 2019. George Shaheen is also retiring from the board after more than 12 years of service, including nonexecutive chair from 2012 to 2019. In addition, current board member Jerry Leamon is succeeding Gold as nonexecutive chair.

Makosi, a finance/accounting staffing firm, appointed Alla Schay as global chief operating officer.
