The global pandemic that has marked 2020 brought unprecedented complications for HR leaders, including a widespread pivot to remote work, new safety and compliance demands, and widespread financial uncertainty. With a heightened focus also on social injustice and inclusion, this year has undoubtedly added a host of new concerns to HR’s already crowded plate.

To shed light on the issues presenting the biggest challenges to today’s HR leaders—and to assist in the effort to find solutions to them—Human Resource Executive® is asking readers to share their feedback in our annual What’s Keeping HR Up at Night? survey.

The online poll takes about five minutes to complete and covers topics including: learning and development, benefits design, talent management, D&I, HR technology and pandemic-driven issues, such as virus management in the workplace and managing remote and hybrid workforces. Respondents can share insights about how they are remedying those issues, as well as perspectives on staffing and stress levels within HR organizations.

Participants will be given the opportunity to receive an advanced copy of the study’s findings. The results, along with a full analysis, will be posted online early next year and will also be featured in an upcoming issue of HRE.

Last year’s survey, conducted when unemployment was reaching record lows, found that, for the first time, retention pushed to the top of HR’s list of concerns. Other key challenges were developing leaders, improving the employee experience, creating culture change and driving innovation.
